Dr. Yvonne Tam is an Associate Consultant in the Burn Centre and Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Prince of Wales Hospital. She concurrently is Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is also the Secretary of the Plastic Surgery Board and a Council Member of the Hong Kong Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons.

After graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2010, Dr. Tam completed her plastic surgery specialist training and obtained her Fellowship in 2017. Her clinical practice focuses on three key areas: breast reconstruction surgery, gender affirming surgery and burns reconstruction surgery. This combination of expertise allows her to address some of the most challenging cases in reconstructive surgery.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Tam plays an active role in surgical education. She is an instructor for several critical training programs including the ANZBA Emergency Management of Severe Burns (EMSB) course, Advanced Surgical Trauma Course (ASTC), and various Critical Care courses.
