Dr. Joseph CHUNG is currently the Consultant surgeon of the Department of Ear, Nose and Throat, Queen Mary Hospital and the Honorary Clinical Associate Professor, the University of Hong Kong. He obtained his specialist qualification in otolaryngology in 2011 and sub-specialized in the field of both head and neck surgery and sleep apnea surgery. He underwent oversea trainings in major head and neck and sleep surgery centers, namely University of California San Francisco; MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston; Singapore General Hospital, Singapore and microvascular training in China Medical University Hospital, Taichung.
 
His clinical interests include head and neck cancer resection with free flap reconstruction, minimally invasive surgery, multi-level sleep surgery for obstructive sleep apnea. He has published over 20 papers in peer review journals and delivered over 40 presentations in local and international conferences related to head and neck/ sleep surgery.
 
He is currently the President of the Hong Kong Society of Otorhinolarynology – Head and Neck Surgery, Vice President of the Hong Kong Society of Sleep Medicine and Honorary Treasurer of the Hong Kong Head & Neck Society. He is also the board member of both the Head and Neck Surgery board and Facial Plastic Surgery board of the Hong Kong College of the Otorhinolaryngologists.
