Professor Jonathan Clark AM holds multiple prestigious roles, including Director of Head and Neck Cancer Research at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Director of Translational Research and Deputy Chair at the Royal Prince Alfred Institute of Academic Surgery, and Conjoint Professor in Head and Neck Cancer Reconstructive Surgery, Australia. He is also the Inaugural Walker Family Foundation Chair and Director of the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence for Applied Innovations in Oral Cancer.
Professor Clark’s dedication to improving outcomes for patients with head and neck cancer is exemplified by his founding of the Head and Neck Cancer Australia, the world’s most comprehensive online education resource for patients and their families.
In recognition of his exceptional contributions to medicine and patient care, Professor Clark was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM). He has also been honoured as an Honorary Member of the Australian Society of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (ASOHNS).
A prolific researcher, Professor Clark has secured over $40 million in research funding and published 440 peer-reviewed publications, including 18 book chapters. His work has garnered more than 11,000 citations and an impressive H-index of 64.
