Professor Guiqing Liao is academic leader of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Guanghua School and Hospital of Stomatology, Sun Yat-Sen University. He is the Chair of Academic Group of the Salivary Gland Disease of China, Deputy Chair of Academic Group of the Oral and Maxillofacial - Head and Neck Surgery Oncology of China. He is also the former president of Committee of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of Guangdong Province. Professor Liao is a well-known surgeon in the field of oral and maxillofacial oncology and reconstruction, including skull base surgery. He has published more than 150 journal articles.
