Professor Chao Li is a distinguished leader in the fields of head and neck surgery and oncology, currently serving as Vice President of the Sichuan Cancer Center, the Affiliate Cancer Hospital of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). With an illustrious career spanning clinical practice, research, and academic leadership, Professor Li holds the titles of M.D., Postdoctoral Fellow, and Doctoral Supervisor, and is recognized as a national high-level medical talent in head and neck surgery. An academician of the International College of Dentists (ICD), he has been honoured for his outstanding contributions to the field. He is also the leader of national key clinical specialties, playing a key role in advancing the standards of head and neck cancer care in China, and is recognized as an academic and technical leader in Sichuan Province, further solidifying his influence and expertise in the region.
Professor Li has held numerous leadership positions in prominent national and international medical organizations, including Chairman of the Head and Neck Tumor Committee (HNSC) of the China Medical Education Association, Vice Chairman of the Plastic Oncology Committee of the China Anti-Cancer Association (CACA), National Group Leader of the Head and Neck Surgery Group under the Otolaryngology Head and Neck Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and National Deputy Leader of the Head and Neck Minimally Invasive Surgery Collaboration Group. These roles underscore his dedication to advancing the fields of head and neck surgery, plastic oncology, and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
