Dr. Ann Chan, is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Medicine in 2006. She had studied molecular genetics in cancer disease in her postgraduate studies as Master of Research in Medicine. She had been practicing in Department of Clinical Oncology in Queen Mary Hospital since 2008 and completed her fellowship of Clinical Oncology in 2013. Her practice focuses on head and neck cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer and palliative medicine which she obtained her palliative medicine specialist in 2019. She coordinated multi-disciplinary meeting and actively participated in head and neck cancer research. She is a council member of Hong Kong Head & Neck Society and Hong Kong Nasopharyngeal Cancer Study Group.
Currently Dr Chan is a Honorary Consultant of Department of Clinical Oncology in Queen Mary Hospital and Honorary Director of Oncology and Radiotherapy Center in St Paul’s Hospital and Honorary Clinical Associate Professor in The University of Hong Kong. She was also awarded scholarships during her post-graduate studies and Hong Kong West Cluster Young Achiever award and Queen Mary Hospital Outstanding Staff Award in Hospital Authority in 2021.
