Dr. Ann Chan is currently Consultant in the Department of Clinical Oncology at Queen Mary Hospital and Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at the Department of Clinical Oncology of The University of Hong Kong. Following graduation in HKU in 2006, she pursued postgraduate training in molecular cancer genetics, earning a Master of Research in Medicine. Since joining Queen Mary Hospital in 2008, Dr. Chan has developed subspecialty expertise in head and neck cancers, breast oncology, colorectal cancer, and palliative medicine.  Dr. Chan obtained her Clinical Oncology Fellowship in 2013 and Palliative Medicine specialization in 2019.

 

Dr. Chan coordinates multidisciplinary meeting and actively participated in head and neck cancer research. She holds leadership roles as Council Member of both the Hong Kong Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma Study Group and Hong Kong Head and Neck Society, while contributing to the Hong Kong Breast Oncology Group. Her outstanding service has been recognized with the Hong Kong West Cluster Young Achiever Award and Queen Mary Hospital Outstanding Staff Award (2021), alongside multiple postgraduate scholarships.
