Dr. Ann Chan, is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Medicine in 2006. She had studied molecular genetics in breast cancer in her postgraduate studies as Master of Research in Medicine. She had been practicing in Department of Clinical Oncology in Queen Mary Hospital since 2008 and completed her fellowship of Clinical Oncology in 2013. Her practice focuses on breast cancer, head and neck cancer, colorectal cancer and palliative medicine which she obtained her palliative medicine specialist in 2019. She works in conjunction with researchers in the center to pioneer clinical trial on anticancer therapies of breast cancer and she is co-author of a number of breast cancer studies published in Cancer Research, J Med Genet and PLOS. She coordinates multi-disciplinary meeting and actively participated in breast cancer forum.

 

Currently Dr Chan is an Associate Consultant in Queen Mary Hospital and Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor in The University of Hong Kong. She was also awarded scholarships during her post-graduate studies and Hong Kong West Cluster Young Achiever award and Queen Mary Hospital Outstanding Staff Award in Hospital Authority in 2021.
